Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I'm rocking my babies 'cause babies don't keep.

Blog Music

Just to let you all know, the music on the blog is a collection of 80's music that my wife loves. Just to let you all know. I would have preferred a wider selection but I gave in to my wife's taste of music.

Sister's Christmas party was a mix with a field trip to the pediatrics floor at the hospital where they caroled and gave each child a gift and a card they had made. it was so sweet to see those 12 kids walking from room to room so excited to sing and give, i was truly touched. her teacher and i could not help but cry, it was so moving and hard to find that we each knew some of the families there. i know in these troubled times, it can be hard to find things to be thankful for, but that certainly gave me a thing or two to say thanks for.

Sissy loves to wear make-up, boy are we in trouble.

pics from the girl's dance recital. this year they did a Harry Connick Christmas. Sissy danced to Frosty the Snowman and Sister danced to The Happy Elf.

they had such a good time working on these dances and did so awesome. they were darling and we are just so proud of them. we are also so happy that it is now Christmas vacation and we can relax for a little while. Sister's costume came from oriental trading and after her class tried them on, the mothers had to do so much fancy patch work because the felt was so thin that we were praying so hard that they would last for just this one recital. by the time it was over, most of the girls were in shabs. but they looked great and everyone was telling us that they were adorable, so it all worked out in the end.

this is what we found in the kids' swing set while we were taking it down. now this would be the very swing set that they played in all summer. lucky that no one was attacked. this is also only one picture, the more we banged the leg on the ground, the more the bees came out. we were also lucky that it was too cold for them to sting us, they could barely move when we sprayed them with the raid. some one better call peta, i am sure they have a special department for the mistreatment of insects and other creepy-crawlies.

i am thinking everyone should record their families Christmas morning and see if we can get a Lackey's Funniest Videos going. whos' with me!
But do remember the true meaning of the Holiday first before the kids get all hoped up on candy and toys.

GG's Memorial Service

Picture of the kids with their balloons. The balloons contained written messages for GG.

Letting of the Balloons.

Chaos of reigning in the cousins for the balloon letting.

The dinner tables. Due to lack of space the kids sat at the tables while the adults stood.

We had a family get together/dinner to honor GG's memory. Though her time with us here in Pocatello was short the girls and cousins will miss her.

World's Biggest My Little Pony Tea Party!!

Here are the birthday girls blowing out their candles.

This was one of the pinatas that the girls were able to break open for candy(the pinata was so hard that I actually had to slam it to the ground about ten times before it opened.)

Here is the candy raid that occurred after the pinata broke

Here are some of the little princesses/princes lined up for pictures with our birthday girls

The theme for the party was My Little Pony and the Worlds Biggest Tea Party. Mamma Bear put the party together and decorated the whole thing along with the cake.

Another Pictures of the girls that were there. Overall we had about thirty girls and some boys there for the party. The girls loved it and are already talking about their next birthday party.

(Never again will I allow this many kids at one time over to our home. Insanity arises, but at least the girls had fun.)
