Cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow,
For babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep,
I'm rocking my babies 'cause babies don't keep.

I will now be doing a little catch up since we found the cords to download our camera. Yea!!!

These are pics of us a few weeks ago when we went to Crystal Summit to do a little last chance sledding, little did we know that more snow would be on the way.

We had a great day, leaving at 10:00 in the morning and realizing at 1:30 in the afternoon that we needed to get the kids fed. Everyone was having so much fun we didn't even realize we were getting hungry. Luckily we packed a couple cheese sticks, apples and some juice for the ride home. We stopped at McDonald's, yuck, but it was late and, of course, that's what the kids wanted.

We thought about inviting some friends along, but decided against it, which turned out to be the best thing when we didn't have any arguing the entire time we were there. We were able to enjoy each other's company without any whining, it made the trip more memorable. The best part was when we crashed and no one cried, the first time it happened, Que and I thought for sure that Keeley, our little tender-heart would burst into tears and that would be the end of the day for her, but she just laughed and rolled around in the snow. For as much of a tender-heart as she is, she can be quite brave where Carley is a little less than, but it gave Carley courage to see her little sister survive. Carley still preferred to walk down most of the hill then finish on the sled, but she got a couple good runs in with Mommy and Daddy.

Brother Bear's favorite part was Daddy taking him on the jumps. They were small but it still gave me the chills. He would get so excited as soon as Daddy would start getting them ready to go down, then all you could hear were the little peals of laughter !! Darling, yet terrifying. He didn't like going down with me because I wouldn't take him on the jumps, so once we got back to the top he would walk over to Daddy. I know, sad. The first run he took, I thought he would be done for sure, the look on his face was priceless and they hadn't even tried the jump yet, but Daddy pulled him back up on the sled and he was ready for more.

The girls loved pairing up with Mommy and Daddy for races and taking their little brother down the hill. Next year, Brother Bear and Keeley and I will beat Carley and Daddy for sure, this year was just for practice. Wink, Wink.

When it was time to leave, those sneaky little girls would walk their sleds up the hill then hurry and jump on for another trip down. They did that 3 times each before it finally wore them out and Mommy had to pull them up the hill. We let Brother try a short ride by himself, he didn't think much of it or maybe he was just too hungry to think of anything else.

It was a very good day and we can't wait until next year when we can go again, maybe we'll try some ice blocking this summer...
